Description
Sports for Learning provides on-site and distance learning support for educators to navigate the ever-changing school and after school landscape. Their mission is to help kids learn and succeed through fun physical activities and social emotional well-being.
The Mind and Body program includes age-appropriate lessons that focus on teaching social and emotional learning skills through physical activity. There are six lesson for each of CASEL’s 5 competencies (Self-Management, Self-Awareness, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision Making) divided into 3 grade levels.
This unique program focuses on the whole student – both their mental and physical well-being.
- Includes almost 1,000 minutes of instructional content. (30-40 minutes a day for 30 days)
- Use remotely OR on-site by projecting it on a big screen, whiteboard, or wall.
- Option of starting, stopping or repeating the lessons.
- As the instructor, you will be able to share your screen for the entire lesson lead by physical activity experts, Ashley Gold and Connor Nodell.
