Yoga (7-12) Specialty Program (VFF03)


Start a Yoga Specialty Club or use remotely! Yoga is an amazing, non-competitive fitness activity that is appropriate for all students at all levels. It promotes body flexibility, balance and breathing. A perfect recipe for shaping young minds. This SELF-RUN program includes 30 days of content, with 30-40 minutes of activity every day. Can be used on most instructional platforms like Zoom, Google Meets, and Microsoft Teams. Targets: 7th – 12th Grades


30-Day Yoga Instructor Megyn Taback has been teaching Yoga in Physical Education Classes for 14-year, fitness over 20 years and Pilates for 17 years. She started a semester long Yoga program where she teaches the students how to teach Yoga. The goal of the program is to find a Yoga practice that suits every student as they are all different.

The 30-Day Yoga program is divided into five sections, each week a new element is added. The poses vary and have variations so all students can find their version of the pose or sequence. Each day new poses are added and every five days the class reviews the weeks lessons.

Yoga is a non-competitive fitness activity that is appropriate for all students at all levels.

  • Includes almost 1,000 minutes of instructional content. (30-40 minutes a day for 30 days)
  • Option of starting, stopping or repeating the lessons
  • As the instructor, you will be able to share your screen for the entire lesson lead by Yoga Teacher, Megyn Taback.
