Radiant Kids Mindfulness Program was created by Michelle Thornton who has been an educator in the field of Health, Fitness, Physical Education and Mindfulness for over 17 years. Michelle’s warmth and wisdom invite young learners to slow down, connect with their hearts, and shine from within.

Program Structure
Each daily video is thoughtfully designed to nurture the mind, body, and spirit through these core segments:
- Opening Lesson (7–15 minutes)
Michelle begins each session with an inspiring mini lesson focused on the daily theme, such as Imagination, Healthy Boundaries, Teamwork, Emotional Regulation and Bullying. Through simple stories, gentle reflection, and mindful conversation, children learn practical ways to bring mindfulness into their everyday lives.
- Creative Energy Flow Segment (5 minutes)
Next, it’s time to create! Students will have free time to use their imagination to move, stretch, color, paint, draw, write, brainstorm etc. Michelle will offer suggested prompts, but they are not mandatory. The purpose is to give the kids an opportunity to CHOOSE what feels good for them for five minutes.
- Guided Meditation & Affirmations (4–5 minutes)
Children then settle into a peaceful guided meditation accompanied by calming nature visuals and uplifting affirmations displayed on the screen. These affirmations encourage confidence, compassion, and calmness. With the intention of helping kids feel grounded, focused, and empowered.
- Journaling the Affirmations (5 minutes)
After meditation, students spend time writing down the day’s affirmations and reflecting on how they feel. This journaling moment strengthens self-awareness and helps children integrate the lesson into their daily lives.
- Michelle’s Closing Send-Off
Each video ends with a warm and heartfelt goodbye from Michelle, leaving students feeling inspired and appreciated, ready to carry their radiant energy into the rest of their day.
