Tennis Skillastics to be featured at Arthur Ashe’s Kids Day Leading Up to the US Open
Corona, CA – Tennis Skillastics, the latest Skillastics Activity Kit to be released, will be a featured activity during Arthur Ashe’s Kids Day on August 28, 2010, in Flushing, NY. Over 25,000 children are expected to attend the exciting event that includes celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment kicking off the US Open. Endorsed by the USTA, Tennis Skillastics was introduced in March of this year, and features a variety of fun tennis and fitness based activities that help kids develop basic skills and acquire a love of the game.
Skillastics offers a series of popular fitness and sport-specific activity kits for varying ages and skill levels marketed worldwide to schools, youth service organizations and recreational agencies. Tennis Skillastics was designed as a teaching tool to help children achieve a higher level of fitness and skill by making practicing tennis fun in a unique, non-competitive environment. “Arthur Ashe’s Kids Day event is a perfect setting to introduce children to the great sport of tennis and we are thrilled at the opportunity for Tennis Skillastics to be part of this effort“, said Sandy Slade, President and Founder of Sandy Spin Slade, Inc., creator of Skillastics.
